About TUUINX, about us
We are two twin sisters born in China, we arrived in Spain when we were 13 years old and we currently reside in Galicia, a place where the landscapes are full of charms and with a long and rich tradition in the textile and crafts sector.
We are designers and also art and culture lovers. We are inspired by nature and artistic movements to create the collections. For us, crafts are the best way to transfer art to fashion.
OUR BRAND
BE UNIQUE, BE YOU, BE TUUINX
The name TUUINX comes from the English word ̈TWINS ¨. We replaced the letter ̈W ̈ by 2 ̈U ̈s because we are two people with individuality and our brand offers a style with personality: each client is Unique and each TUUINX design is Unique. The X is the initial letter of our Chinese surname and is part of our identity.
OUR WAY TO SLOW-FASHION
BEGINING
2021-2022
During the first 2 years, we made 100% handmade garments, all of them are loose, simple and easy to combine and each of them stands out for its own detail: digital prints, embroidery or hand-made prints, etc. We seek originality, quality and at the same time the best way to mix art with design.
ONE MORE STEP
2023
When TUUINX turns 2 years old, we launch the new and the first collection made in the small textile workshops of Galicia. Each garment is cut and sewn with dedication and care. We select natural fiber fabrics, organic or recycled fabrics and we also look for scraps in stores and textile markets. With them we make capsule collections of limited quantities without wasting materials and we embellish the fabrics using different craft techniques.
In this way, we ensure an ethical and sustainable production and at the same time we establish a close relationship with local textile workshops.

OUR STYLE
We are influenced by Asian culture since childhood and because of the pieces of TUUINX In addition to being comfortable, sober and timeless, they are always surrounded by an oriental air. We introduce the details of the fashion of our country to the looks to create our own style that mixes tradition and modernity.
